Bistro St. Germain (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information bistrostgermain.com collects, how it is used, the third-party services we rely on, and the choices you have. We do not run advertising networks or sell your information. The only information we collect directly is what you choose to send us through our contact form.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in two ways:

• Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide.
• Automatically. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Our own website does not use advertising trackers or analytics services, and all fonts and page assets are served directly from our own domain. However, a third-party service we use (see Section 4) may set its own cookies or collect information as described below.

3. Contact Form

If you submit our contact form, we use the name, email address, and message solely to respond to your inquiry. Submissions are delivered to our email inbox through Resend, an email-delivery service that processes the contents of your message only to deliver it to us. We do not use contact-form information for marketing, and we do not sell or share it.

4. Third-Party Services

Our homepage loads a third-party service from inKind (a dining rewards and hospitality platform). This service runs automatically when the homepage loads. As part of running, inKind may set cookies or other identifiers in your browser and may automatically collect technical and usage information — such as your IP address, device and browser details, referring page, and interactions with the inKind feature — whether or not you engage with it. If the service displays an offer and you choose to provide information (such as your email address or phone number), inKind collects that as well.

All information inKind collects — passively or from what you submit — is collected and controlled by inKind under its own privacy policy, not this one. We do not control, and are not responsible for, inKind’s data practices. Because this service loads on our homepage, some information may be collected by inKind before you take any action.

5. Website Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) in server logs as part of delivering the website and protecting it from abuse.

6. How We Use and Share Information

We use the information we collect only to respond to your inquiries, operate and secure the website, and provide the features described above. We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers named in this policy (Resend, Cloudflare, and inKind), each solely to perform the function described, and as required by law.

7. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Note that the inKind feature described in Section 4 is operated by inKind under its own privacy policy; to exercise rights regarding information you provide to inKind, please contact inKind directly. 8. Children’s Privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
